A journey by train

                                I once went to Baddulla by train. I went with my parents, my uncle also joined in the trip. We left by morning train. We had our breakfast in the train. We had home prepared tea in a flask. My uncle bought biscuits and sandwiches from the buffet.

                                The train was running at high speed. After passing gampaha the train stopped suddenly. The passengers looked out from the windows. Later we came to know that a bull was knocked down by the train and was thrown to the nearby field.

                                    When we reached Nawalapitiya we were hungry and opened up our lunch parcels. By now we were going through long and short tunnels. The train was passing tea estates. We saw waterfalls far away. Passing all these beautiful sceneries we reached Baddulla railway station. It was half- an- hour late due to the accident that occurred at Gampaha.
