 On the importance of studying English  

    English is the key to all human though and knowledge. All the great books in the world have been translated into English.

  English is a language spoken by 1/5 of the people of the world. Therefore people who studies English is not only normal man who has a broad education of all the sciences 8 arts , but also citizen of the world , who can be understood in almost ony part of the civilized world.

      There are most thousands of Sri Lankan people who go to the middle western countries every year now and those who have a knowledge ' how ever small it may be of the English language have an advantage over those who know no English .

 All famouse leaders, presidents they always use to English language to speak and drstribute their ideas all over the world . 

   A man with a full knowledge of English is not a narrow minded , cultured polished and in many senses a perfect gntleman. Even is Sri Lanka , a man educated in English is more respected than a person without a knowledge of English.
